After School Clubs

At Redwood we have a thriving after school club network. We currently have the choice of 17 different after school clubs a week which run on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. All our clubs are inclusive and are based around fun but they all allow for progression, to improve performance and some offer a pathway to community sessions, clubs and competitions (local, regional and national).

Our after school club programme was judged to be “phenomenal” by a recent OFSTED inspection.

Future developments

¨ Development of Triathlon Club / opportunities (running, swimming, cycling) to be based on-site.

¨ Whole school swimming programme in conjunction with Kellogs awards scheme.

 

 

¨ New clubs after Christmas: Table Tennis, Basketball, Badminton.

¨ Construction of affiliated Boccia squad to take part in competitions, we are currently looking to increase participation and squad members.

¨ Gymnastics coaching (male and female) at Rochdale Olympic Gymnastic Club on a Monday evening  5 – 6pm.
