Therapy Offer

A - 

The delivery of the curriculum and specialist offer will be consistently strong across all school cohorts.

A1 - Refine the provision and curriculum offer in Engage to ensure that it is delivered consistently well across the pathway.
A2 - Implement an effective whole school reading strategy including early reading and taught phonics.
A3 - Embed consistent assessment protocols across school to ensure the effective tracking, monitoring, and recording of progress.
A4 - Establish new learner pathways, and refine existing, to improve the informal, semi formal, and formal SEND offer.
A5 - Strengthen systems and processes to ensure greater consistency and improved teaching and learning across school.
A6 - Develop, embed, and improve the communication environment, ensuring greater consistency across school.
A7 - Broaden and enhance the school’s specialist and therapeutic offer.

B - 

Systems and processes will be robust and specialist, ensuring high student engagement across all pathways.

B1 - Improve systems and processes to ensure improved school attendance for all cohorts across school, alongside building safeguarding capacity.

B2 - Develop more systems and processes to ensure accurate recording and effective response to behaviour.

B3 - Create clear pastoral and behaviour roles and responsibilities to help meet the more challenging behaviour needs.

B4 - Increase staff skillset and confidence regarding challenging SEND/ behaviour, including through restorative practices.

C - 

There will be a robust, trackable, and equitable personal development offer that meets individual need.

C1 - Develop a robust, whole school PSED (SRE Focus) Curriculum with a spiral approach to learning.

C2 - Develop clear and equitable systems and processes for LOTC, along with tracking impact and progress.

C3 - Create further opportunities for student voice with a focus on improved wellbeing.

D - 

Redwood will be well organised with strong leadership at every level.

D1 - Embed clear vision and values, along with branding, to be understood by all stakeholders.

D2 - Improve operational and strategic operation of senior leadership.

D3 - Implement rigorous and supportive appraisal systems across school for all staff.

D4 - Strengthen Redwood’s place in the borough.

D5 - Broaden the operation and impact of curriculum leaders and coordinators across the wider school.

D6 - Define and match support staff roles and responsibilities to ensure impact at the appropriate level.

D7 - Improve Redwood’s Business Support function including HR systems to reduce staff absence.

E1 - Further develop, refine, and expand Redwood’s Sixth Form and Post 16 offer.

E2 - Further develop and enhance the Extended Schools role, including expanding the scope and offer.
